Bill Moggridge: What is Design?

A big question, and Bill Moggridge, the director of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and our newest columnist, breaks it open in thislecture at the Smithsonian Design Institute, delivered to K-12 educators from around the country. He recaps the National Design Awards and gives many examples of good design, but also, to round out his definition, many examples of bad as well.
