We proudly invite you to Seoul Design Fair, right here in the city of Seoul, World Design Capital 2010!

When the buildings in downtown Seoul began to shed its old gray facade and started wearing vivid colors and lively patterns,we realized with surprise that building forest can uplift our spirits. It was indeed miracle of design.

The Seoul Design Olympiad, which demonstrated the power of design in 2008 and 2009, will once again be opened under the new name of the Seoul Design Fair in September at Jamsil Sports Complex.

The city of Seoul, which has been designated as the World Design Capital 2010, wishes to share design of consideration and communication with the world under the theme of “Design for All.”

Design is more than just decorating and beautifying the exterior; it helps to realize dreams. Design creates jobs and distributes the fruit of growth. I am certain that the fair will provide a precious opportunity for many to feel and understand the omnipresence of design working its magic at markets, schools, work places, play grounds and more.

Now the city of Seoul will reborn as the central city of design that will capture the attention of the world. And I cordially invite you to witness that historic moment. I sincerely wish you would enjoy the Seoul Design Fair where you will meet good friends and share wonderful feelings and ideas together.
